Position: Customer Relationship Specialist (Private Sector or Government)
Job Brief
We’re looking for a results-driven Customer Relationship Specialist to actively seek out and engage customer prospects, in addition, to successfully onboarding new clients.
Customer Relationship Specialist will execute best practices and appropriate solutions to procure customers in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Customer Relationship Specialist will effectively demonstrate ZoomGrants and industry knowledge while leading demos, trainings, and onboarding sessions, as well as general program design and consultation, to ensure the success of current and new clients.
Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition
- Present, promote and procure prospective customers (client partners)
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through internal process, external lead process, and cold calls
- Provide remote and/or in-person product demonstrations for prospective customers (client partners)
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
Customer Onboarding
- Provide training for new customers including product implementation and program customization.
- Assist with technical support as needed.
- Conduct training sessions for various user types
Experience, Skills, and General Requirements
- 2+ years of ZoomGrants administrative user experience OR equivalent grant management software experience
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and employees of the organization via phone, video, email, and in-person as needed
- Exhibit strong organizational and time-management skills
- Work effectively in a team and individual setting
- Experience and comfort utilizing common software solutions including, but not limited to, GSuite, CRM tools, and online presentation software.
- Personal laptop, cell phone, and reliable internet connection to perform job responsibilities.
