As a Product Manager at Starburst, you will identify market problems to create a valuable product aligned with the company product strategy and vision. This is a cross functional role requiring you to collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering. You will lead coordination of all product lifecycle activities for your product, including developing the roadmap and strategy, gathering requirements, and driving development toward successful releases of your product.

Starburst is seeking an experienced Product Manager for the Ecosystem team at Starburst. The Ecosystem team’s goal is to create products, features, and other integrations that ensure an amazing user experience when using Starburst with the tools customers know, use, and love.

Responsibilities

• Own the product management process for the Ecosystem engineering team

• Engage with customers and partners; gather requirements

• Develop product roadmap

• Create requirements for engineering to develop product

• Collaborate with engineering during development

• Discover problems to solve in order to build valuable products and features customers will use.

• Lead the prioritization and development of Starburst products and features to integrate with the major cloud platform providers, development of Starburst client tools, integration with Business Intelligence tools, integration and development of security and data governance tools.

• Work with cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) partners for roadmap input and feedback

• Develop a strong understanding of customer use cases and identify patterns to incorporate into product strategy and roadmap

• Collaborate with other product managers, product designer, field team, support team, and engineers for input to the product roadmap

• Create and use a data driven approach to product

• Collaborate with teams globally across multiple time zones and operate in an Agile development environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of software engineering experience

• 5+ years of product management experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Location: Warsaw, Poland preferred: Open for the right candidate

Preferred Experience

• Expertise of the landscape of Business Intelligence tools and Cloud Platform providers.
