We are looking for a creative and experienced individual that is dynamic in their thinking and possess great energy, passion and initiative to help craft the technical foundation of our partner practice to bring the power of StarburstPresto and SQL on anything to the global enterprise. The Partner Architect role will own all things Technical that are partner related for our business globally. This individual will be able to help shape the technical aspects of our partner program strategy. Will help to identify, qualify and recruit Partners with core competencies and technology aligning to Starburst’s position in the market. Additionally this individual will be helping establishing a certification program, enablement program and monitoring process for quality control with Partner engagements. The Partner Architect role will be a critical component to successful alignment and scale for Starburst’s Channel and Ecosystem Partners.
Dedicated technical resource for Starburst’s Channel and Alliance Partners
Responsible for building and delivering all Starburst’s partner technical enablement
Dedicated Technical lead for Partner sourced deals and PS engagement
Leading collaboration with Starburst’s partners to create partner internal and external customer facing technical content
Responsible for establishing expertise in Partner platform deployment and integrations to support Starburst’s field organization
Cross functional Technical lead between SB partner portfolio and SB Field
At least 2 years in a direct technical sales role for a high technology company
At least 3 years in a Solution Architect or Partner Architect role
At least 3 years generating pipeline and selling with Technology Alliance Partners, System Integrators and Regional VARs
Technically Knowledgeable in the open source software, SQL, big data, IoT, and / or cloud computing space
