As the Director of Product Marketing you will drive positioning & messaging, branding strategy and initiatives, and customer acquisition strategies across our portfolio of product offerings. You are able to proficiently design and develop value propositions that are succinct and competitive. You must have a technical background and are able to walk in the shoes of our customers and competitors. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on creator and evangelist of content, including fine-tuned messaging, presentations, whitepapers, videos, and more. You will work regularly with sales and product leadership teams.

What you’ll do:
Create product marketing plans, solution collateral, and participate in sales enablement.
Develop messaging and content deliverables that articulate Starburst's offerings, differentiating values, and key benefits.
Work closely with product management, sales, partners, and analysts to position our products at a high level and around individual features that we bring to market.
Drive the creation of technical content that's used across direct marketing, field marketing, sales engagements, and channel marketing, including collateral, presentations, white papers, field/partner enablement tools and other deliverables.
Create technical content for market awareness including: infographics, white papers, customer case studies, articles, ROI tools, blogs, videos, podcasts, and other customer-facing materials to build awareness, drive demand generation and arm the sales team.
Own and execute best-in-class, timely product launches and initiatives, and help customers, press, and analysts understand why what we’re doing is valuable to the market.
Work with sales to deliver high-impact sales tools, enablement and training e.g. sales presentations, battle-cards, cheat sheets, ROI tools, etc.
Be the spokesperson for Starburst’s products internally and across external press and analyst relations programs
You’ll be a great fit if:
5-7 years of experience in Product Marketing solution marketing, corporate marketing, and/or sales experience in enterprise software and/or SaaS experience environment.
Technical, sales, or product marketing experience with databases, middleware, data integration, developer tools, programming languages and APIs.
Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to synthesize technology to create compelling value messages and content by persona.
Proven success in taking multiple products to launch and beyond.
Capability to both author and produce content, and project manage internal thought leaders and marketing services resources to design creative and unique deliverables.
Impeccable written and oral communication skills – proven track record in creating multi-faceted marketing and sales enablement material – this is a must have!
Experience with sales enablement best practices around competitive battle cards, sales plays, customer-facing PowerPoint decks, sales training presentations, etc.
