  • Work with management to identify recruiting needs and manage the recruiting process
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arrange interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Create and implement an annual work plan for all people management services, policies and programs (i.e. organizational development, performance management, leadership development and training, compensation, succession management, organizational culture, values and core competencies)
  • Define, communicate, and nurture our culture, collect continuous feedback from employees on their levels of alignment and engagement, and seek ways to make working at GrayMeta more fulfilling for our people
  • Assist with employee on-boarding and work to continuously improve this experience for new hires
  • Oversees and participates in the on-boarding process with management to ensure orientation process is complete and thorough
  • Manage the semi-monthly payroll process, in conjunction with Accounting
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
  • Plan employee events or establish programs that help drive camaraderie and strengthen our culture
  • HRIS data entry, maintenance and reporting
  • Ensures proper maintenance of confidential employee information.
  • Assist with disciplinary actions, including performance plans, and employee warnings as needed.
  • Collaborates with management team providing a resolution plan, follows up to ensure completion and participates in disciplinary actions when applicable.
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of employment laws and practices, as well as internal policies/procedures, and provides suitable interpretation to management and employees.
  • Work with third party PEO to provides support for activities related to federal and state laws and regulations governing human resources practices including but not limited to the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Identify and successfully address employee relations issues.
  • Proactively identify areas to enhance the organization and employee experience
  • Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with management and employees at all levels.
  • Cultivates a culture that emphasizes communication, transparency, creativity, and trust.
  • Assists with HR-related education/training, communication and awareness efforts. Supports implementation and training for new HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
