The EMEA Technical Presales candidate should have a solid technical experience of designing and developing digital video platforms and media workflows; interest in building a career in technical sales, possess effective communication and strong interpersonal skills. This position will involve working closely with our EMEA clients, our partners and our internal engineering team to define practical technical solutions. The role will be based in the UK, and may be required to travel internationally for short periods of time.
Primary responsibilities and functions include
- Provide pre-sales support for the sales of GrayMeta Platform solutions
- Provide technical expertise to new and existing customers in order to assist the EMEA sales team in reaching sales revenue goals
- Responsible for technical pre-sales design recommendations and justifications
- Manage the technical aspects of sales prospecting and provisioning
- Communicate technical design requirements and implementation details to sales team and customers, both in formal documentation and verbally
- Communicate account and project status with internal teams, including sales, customer support and engineering management
- Design, document, and implement technical aspects of proof of concepts and the on-boarding of potential clients
- Gather and document requirements for requested features, professional service engagements and product enhancements
Required skills, knowledge and abilities
- 3-5 years of experience in customer a facing position, preferably technical sales
- Knowledge of content workflows
- Highly motivated, extremely organized, conversant with technology, team-oriented, creative, and possess strong verbal and written communication and negotiating skills
- Confident communicator of technical concepts and solutions
- A proven track record in designing & delivering cloud based platforms involving several different 3rd parties. Deep knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML
Additional desired strengths
- Knowledge of digital video system ecosystem, metadata, and cognitive services
- Knowledge of content lifecycle in the digital supply chain is a plus
