As the Paid Search Specialist or Manager with expertise in Amazon Ads at Pet Honesty, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our online presence, increasing brand visibility, and driving revenue growth within the pet supplement market. Your deep understanding of search marketing strategies and hands-on experience with Amazon Ads will be key to enhancing our digital footprint and reaching pet owners seeking premium, natural wellness solutions.


Specialist Level requires 3-5 years of experience

Manager Level requires 5-8 years of experience


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This role will be the hands-on channel owner for Amazon, as well as some smaller third-party sites
  • Develop and execute Amazon Ads (Amazon sponsored products, sponsored brands, and DSP) campaigns tailored to promoting Pet Honesty's range of pet supplements, including keyword research, ad copy creation, targeting, and bidding strategies 
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance metrics, such as impressions, clicks, conversions, click-through rates (CTR) and return on ad spend (ROAS) to drive continuous improvement
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to refine ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting methods for optimal campaign outcomes
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices within the pet supplement and search marketing space to ensure Pet Honesty's campaigns remain competitive and effective
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and analytics, to align marketing efforts and drive unified strategies
  • Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to the marketing team and key stakeholders, highlighting trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Conduct thorough competitive analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities, adjusting strategies accordingly to maintain a leading edge
  • Effectively manage campaign budgets, ensuring campaigns are on track to achieve objectives while adhering to target cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and return on investment (ROI) goals
  • Leverage analytics tools and platforms to extract data-driven insights, enabling well-informed decisions and optimizations
  • Participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to elevate Pet Honesty's overall marketing initiatives


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Amazon Advertising) are a plus
  • Years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads campaigns, preferably within the pet industry or related sectors
  • Proven track record of driving successful search marketing campaigns, with demonstrated achievements in improving key performance metrics
  • Proficiency in utilizing analytics tools (e.g. Amazon Advertising Console) to derive insights and optimize campaigns effectively
  • Experience using and implementing a bid management tool
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and formulate actionable strategies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise conveyance of complex concepts
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, adept at managing multiple campaigns and tasks concurrently
  • Collaborative team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced, results-driven environment 
  • Creative problem-solver passionate about pet wellness and eager to contribute fresh ideas
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with data visualization tools
WORK LOCATION

It is highly desired for this position to be located at our corporate headquarters in Austin, TX requiring you to live close to the office for meetings, etc. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees who work out of our corporate office can work remotely 3 days per week and are required to be in the office 2 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday). Consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are only available for remote work. Relocation assistance will be provided, if necessary.
