As the Associate Brand Manager at our omnichannel company, you will play a vital role on the brand team to analyze, develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and contribute to revenue growth.  


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Brand Strategy Support
    • Lead market research, monitor industry trends, and identify opportunities to drive brand growth across omni-channel competitive landscape
    • Assist in the development and execution of brand strategies to achieve high growth business objectives
    • Collaborate with the brand management team to refine the brand strategy, positioning and target audience
    • Support innovation strategy and assist in identification of new product opportunities initiatives through market and consumer research
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Lead the tracking and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of brand initiatives including growing brand awareness
    • Lead the preparation of regular reports and presentations on brand sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
    • Identify insights and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis and research
  • Cross-functional Project Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead projects to strengthen our 4Ps (product, price, place, promotion) working with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, e-commerce, media, and operations to achieve brand growth in a highly competitive category
    • Collaborate with the media team to integrate brand messaging into online platforms and digital marketing initiatives such as PDPs, A+ content, banners, and paid social media
    • Assist in coordinating brand activities by guiding messaging strategy for physical store locations in collaboration with the retail team
  • Brand Marketing Communications
    • Own the PR execution with external PR agency including coordinating information, approving press releases, interview guides for executives, performance tracking, and affiliate campaigns
    • Coordinate with sales on shopper marketing initiatives including in-store retail displays and online promotional opportunities
    • Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of brand marketing campaigns across multiple channels, working with internal and external stakeholders, such as creative teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure seamless campaign execution
    • Support the creation and management of creative content for various brand touchpoints, including websites, social media platforms, and marketing collateral
    • Assist in the development of brand communication materials, such as press releases, media kits, and sales presentations
    • Monitor campaign performance, gather data, and assist in analyzing results to optimize future campaigns


    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field required. Education in business and/or MBA or related degree (i.e. Masters in Marketing) preferred
    • 1-3 Years of previous experience in marketing, brand management, or related roles is a plus
    • Familiarity with omnichannel marketing strategies and tactics 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaning insights
    • Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and platforms. Must be comfortable in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Nielsen, Stackline, IRI, or other syndicated database preferred 
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
    • Detail-oriented with a passion for branding, consumer behavior, and pet wellness


    WORK LOCATION

    It is highly desired for this position to be located at our corporate headquarters in Austin, TX requiring you to live close to the office for meetings, etc. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees who work out of our corporate office can work remotely 3 days per week and are required to be in the office 2 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday). Consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are only available for remote work. However, travel to the corporate office will be required at least 1 or 2 times per month with compensation for reasonable and customary travel expenses.
