Senior Marketing Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Designer to join our growing creative team. At Pet Honesty, we're on a mission to make pets healthier and owners happier. We truly believe that life is better with a pet.

Reporting to the Creative + Designer Manager, the Senior Marketing Designer will be responsible for helping us frame the Pet Honesty story and how we visually communicate it to the world. The Senior Marketing Designer will be responsible for all paid media ads and execution and how we want to market to new and existing customers using the Pet Honesty brand voice and guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Concept and execute new paid media campaigns in collaboration with the performance marketing and creative teams including awareness videos for OLV/YouTube, Meta videos/GIFs/static ads
Help concept ads from opening hooks through storytelling from the top of the funnel to the lower funnel
Understand the performance of ads and interpret results to strategically improve assets
Collaborate with Marketing to provide strategic thoughts around the best creative ideas to drive results
Quickly iterate on best-performing ad creative to optimize performance marketing campaigns
Follow a brand book to create consistent and beautiful content and assets
Manage partners and agencies to create paid media ads by getting UGC, studio, and or lifestyle footage
Create and concept static and animated Meta ads
Shoot and edit videos for social media is a plus. Can also work with a separate video animator
Have a love of social media and its trends
Own the development of a creative asset management platform to organize and easily share creative assets across the organization and with external partners

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Be able to take a project from ideation to completion
Strong, clean, visual design sense in typography, graphic design, and content design
Attention to detail and being able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to keep track of a large number of tasks
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
Knowledge of After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro or other animation software
Willingness to test and always coming up with new ideas to improve performance
Passion and pets and wellness
Must have a portfolio to apply

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or a similar field and 4+ years experience in the field

WORK LOCATION

It is highly desired for this position to be located at our corporate headquarters in Austin, TX requiring you to live close to the office for meetings, etc. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees who work out of our corporate office can work remotely 3 days per week and are required to be in the office 2 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday). Consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are only available for remote work. However, travel to the corporate office will be required at least 1 or 2 times per month with compensation for reasonable and customary travel expenses.
