Variable, Inc is a 7 year old startup in color measurement and software industry. Variable manufactures award winning color matching devices like the Color Muse to a variety of color professionals across different industries. Most notably, the Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap Match won the 2018 Product of the Year. Color is everywhere around us -- from your walls, sofa, clothes, curtains, cabinets, rugs, to printed materials, industrial applications, vehicles, boats, airplanes, and so much more. Our programs help consumers and professionals make educated decisions and communicate color to other users. 


Variable is looking to hire a Customer Engagement Specialist to support our sales and marketing team. The position is responsible for customer engagement programs, but not limited to the following:


  1. Customer Attraction. This position is responsible for attracting clients to Variable’s products and software solutions:

  • Assisting with the development of social media content and marketing campaigns

  • Distributing content across a variety of targeted channels

  • Building case studies and news highlights to capture market applications

  • Support tradeshows, conferences, and customer presentations


  1. Customer Conversion. This position is responsible for converting clients from being interested to existing users of Variable’s products and software solutions:

  • Providing customer support in product selection and software solutions

  • Identify & share best practices from customers to promote as marketing content

  • Implement strategies to increase customer product & app reviews 

  • Schedule and conduct web-based product demos

  • Accelerate customer purchasing decisions by removing selling obstacles


  1. Customer Engagement. This position is responsible for ongoing engagement, outline customer business issues, and build awareness of our product solutions:

  • Build targeted marketing content to increase user engagement 

  • Providing client support across variety of selling channels

  • Build & maintain lasting relationships with key customers

  • Track engagement through Google & App analytics to measure success

  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing accounts ensuring satisfaction

  • Manage reports to guide development of existing and prospecting engagement

  • Provide feedback and input from customers to improve product development
