Position Summary:

The part-time Business Development Account Specialist at 410 Medical will be responsible for generating qualified, high value leads to build a healthy pipeline for our commercial team. The ability to understand and clearly communicate product features and benefits to prospects in a clinical environment is a critical skill for success in this role.  The Business Development Account Specialist reports to the Manager of Business Development and Account Management.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Drive revenue growth through lead generation, long term sales area management and proactive account management

  • Gather and manage  information on target accounts and contacts, including publications, priorities, unmet needs, and other relevant information in order maximize the success of the lead and account development work

  • Conduct initial emails, calls and other correspondence with new and current contacts, including new leads from website inquiries, conferences or LinkedIn to develop new, enthusiastic leads

  • Maintain refined and prioritized target account and project lists using our CRM database - included details of account/contact activity, email campaigns, and general data integrity and organization

  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations to hospital staff, nursing schools, etc

  • Suggest and implement  improvements to virtual training and demo plans

  • Assist in pre-conference outreach and post conference follow up of all leads

  • Align with marketing and company brand efforts by keeping scripts and outreach content up-to-date

  • Other duties as directed

 

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to listen, tease out unmet needs and effectively communicate clinical concepts and product benefits

  • Ability to develop positive relationships with new people

  • Previous experience in a sales related role is preferred - not required

  • Willingness to learn and follow a sales process with performance metrics is required

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and clinical acumen related to our products

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, work in a matrix team and shift focus in a rapidly changing environment

  • Proficient use of email, CRM applications, and general office productivity applications is required. (Google Suite is preferred)

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

 

This role is a part-time role 25 hours per week Monday-Friday.
