410 Medical, based in Durham, NC, is focused on innovative technology to improve resuscitation of critically ill patients. 410’s lead product, LifeFlow, is designed to enable clinicians to more effectively and efficiently deliver fluids to patients with shock and sepsis in urgent need of rapid fluid resuscitation.  LifeFlow was cleared by the FDA in 2016 and is currently being marketed in the United States.

 

Position Summary:

This part-time position at 410 Medical will provide experience in a medical device startup environment.  The individual will handle a variety of marketing and sales lead related tasks and projects, including developing and optimizing 410 Medical’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·      Manage and maintain CRM tool, inputting leads from sales team

·      Data entry and report development and evaluation for customer or other databases

·      Assist with organization, maintenance and use of customer database

 

 Skills/ Qualifications:

·      Current full-time student pursuing Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

·      Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple priorities

·      Independent self-starter

·      Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all team members

·      Ability to write in a clear, concise and objective manner using proper grammar and English

·      Customer focused attitude and appropriate sense of urgency

·      Proactively seeks out ways to help customers, vendors and team members

·      Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)

·      Willingness to learn new technology quickly (Salesforce CRM)
