Human Resources Specialist 

Summary
Audit Analytics HR team is growing!  We are an independent research firm that provides key data and analysis to global leaders in the financial, accounting, and regulatory communities.  We are seeking an experienced HR professional to support various Human Resources functions with a focus on recruitment, scheduling interviews, new hire onboarding, maintaining employee files, and employee engagement. 

Responsibilities:
  • Assess candidate resumes, maintain, and update job postings and candidate flow within the TriNet applicant tracking system  
  • Assist with recruitment activities through candidate sourcing via LinkedIn and career fairs 
  • Schedule meetings/events, including candidate phone screens, remote/onsite interviews, new hire onboarding and orientation, and employee engagement/company events 
  • Manage new hire survey program to gather feedback for management 
  • Maintain HR files and employee records ensuring completion and accuracy of details  
  • Advise and partner with managers and employees about HR processes and to provide resources 
  • Lead employee engagement activities and drive creation of quarterly employee newsletter 
  • Order and organize materials for career fairs, employee gifts, community service activities, etc.  
  • Create and maintain HR related documentation in Atlassian Confluence wiki tool 
  • Send out companywide announcements via email under the direction of the Director of HR 
  • Assist with creating monthly and quarterly HR PowerPoint presentations 

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, business, or related field required   
  • 2 + years of relevant work experience in Human Resources or related field 
  • 1 + years of recruitment experience 
  • Self-motivated, can-do attitude, and ability to manage changing priorities 
  • Prior experience working with HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking Systems 
  • Ensures that all HR administrative functions are handled in an accurate and timely manner 
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, and ADA 
  • Exhibits high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling extremely sensitive information using considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment 
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization 
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite 

The ideal candidate also has
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting applications such as Microsoft Teams 
  • SHRM-CP/PHR certification
