Job Summary  

Aperture Education is currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who will work to provide hands-on full life cycle recruitment. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for providing proactive recruitment and support for our hiring needs. This role will source, assess, coordinate candidates for openings at all levels and develop and implement innovative and cost-effective recruiting strategies for positions. 

 Responsibilities  
  • Full-cycle recruitment to include job posting, sourcing, interviewing, scheduling interviews, reference checks and offer negotiation.  

  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing, and on-going relationship management. 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to identify and calibrate ideal candidate profiles for hard to fill positions 

  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs 

  • Work closely with the VP of People & Culture to develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent. 

  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level vacancies. 

  • Train hiring teams on interviewing best practices & interview bias training. 

  • Work along-side the People & Culture Manager to develop brand awareness of our company culture. 

  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy. 

  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess a strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline. 

  • Maintain and report on hiring analytics 

  • Ensure candidate journeys are updated to match the stage they are in.  

  • Lead weekly hiring pulse meeting  

Qualifications (Education & Experience) 
  •  2+ year’s minimum experience in talent acquisition/hr (Required) 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Required) 

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems  

  • You are stress-resilient, solution-oriented and a real people person.

  • You are a clear and effective communicator (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements  
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods  

  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.  

 Work Environment  
  • Professional home office environment including quality internet connection 

  • Travel: 0-10%
