Until now, we have never had an employee completely dedicated to QA at Gramercy Tech, and it's a really important role for us to cultivate as our company grows. We're looking for someone who can really take charge, be excited to help us create the best products possible, and who isn't intimated by working on a wide range of software projects. 


Job description

-Working closely with our Project Managers and developers to test our work (apps, websites, digital signage, and more), document technical issues, and create tickets in Jira

-Automated testing: execute test scripts and analyze results

-Manual testing: especially with our event app as we continue to add features

-Responsible for finding and reporting on bugs and suggesting improvements 

-Overall eye for detail and ability to create clear documentation/ testing logs

-General troubleshooting


Requirements

-Strong technical knowledge (preferably a Computer Science degree, or similar)

-QA experience (3-5 years dedicated to QA)

-Attention to detail and highly organized

-Able to understand errors, and clearly document

-Familiar with Agile and QA methodology 

-Passionate about helping a small company put their best work out into the world!
