Position Overview:

Sureify is seeking a results-driven Vice President Sales Executive to own sales efforts and drive market penetration in their portion of North America. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have a strong background in closing large enterprise sales deals, a comprehensive understanding of the L&A insurance industry, and a passion for driving digital transformation. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, qualifying and advancing owned account prospects, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, and ultimately be in charge of driving large TCV sales revenue for the company. This is an individual contributor role, not a sales management role and will be one of three sales members covering North America.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Target Market Penetration: Pursue and close new business opportunities in the life and annuity insurance industry, working to increase the company’s presence at targets, grow relationships at each prospect, and close sales in target markets on a large list of defined accounts.

  • Prospect Visits: Create and conduct in-person meetings with assigned prospects on an annual basis to build and strengthen relationships across book of assigned prospects.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy on assigned accounts to drive revenue, expand market share, and meet company sales targets.

  • Client Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at life insurance companies, understanding their business needs and solutioning with the Sureify team to establish fit and best use case.

  • Presentations: Create opportunities to deliver compelling presentations and set up product demonstrations for prospects to highlight the value and impact of Sureify’s solutions on their business objectives.

  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work hand in hand with solution engineering, product, marketing to align strategies to deliver  customized solutions to stated problems. 

  • Forecasting and Reporting: Provide expected sales forecasts and regular reporting on sales performance to the executive team.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead RFPs, contracting,  contract negotiations, and  close high-value deals, ensuring successful handoff to delivery and customer success teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

  • 5+ years of experience in large enterprise sales ($500k-MM+), with a focus on technology, consulting, and/or SaaS solutions (experience in life or annuity insurance/insurtech is highly preferred).

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a high-growth environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on and detailed in driving deals to closure.

  • Strong interest in understanding the life insurance industry and its digital transformation trends.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and other sales enablement technologies.

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.

OTE - $400,000
