About Us
Qualia Life Sciences (formerly Neurohacker Collective) creates groundbreaking supplements rooted in naturopathy and complex systems science. Since 2015, we’ve focused on advancing brain health, aging, sleep, and energy through rigorous research and thoughtful formulation. Our mission is simple: empower people to feel and perform at their best.
Why Join Us
At Qualia Life Sciences, research is foundational to everything we do. Our Research & Development team partners across science, operations, and product to translate thoughtful, ethical research into real-world impact. Joining our team means contributing to work that values rigor, precision, and care; both for the science and for the people who make it possible.
The Role
We’re hiring a Research Study Coordinator to help bring our research initiatives to life by supporting the planning, coordination, and smooth execution of clinical and field studies. This role keeps study operations moving with clarity and care by managing logistics, engaging participants, maintaining accurate documentation, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams. The coordinator ensures that every step aligns with study protocols, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements, contributing to high-quality research that reflects our commitment to thoughtful science and meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Coordinate operational and logistical aspects of research studies, including participant recruitment, scheduling, data collection, and follow-up.
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants by providing study-related information, responding to questions, and addressing concerns to ensure a positive and compliant experience.
-
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date study documentation, including informed consent forms, participant files, and study tracking records.
-
Ensure ongoing adherence to study protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory and ethical guidelines.
-
Collaborate with investigators, research assistants, internal teams, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of study activities.
-
Monitor study supplies and inventory; support ordering, requisitions, and vendor coordination as needed.
-
Assist with preparation, review, and maintenance of study documents including protocols, informed consent forms, and regulatory submissions.
-
Participate in study meetings and provide timely updates on enrollment status, timelines, risks, and operational needs.
-
Support audits, monitoring visits, and internal quality reviews as required.
-
Perform other related duties as assigned (approximately 10%).
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, public health, or a related field.
-
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
-
Working knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
-
Proficiency with data management systems and standard office software tools.
Preferred:
-
Prior experience in research coordination, clinical research, or a similar role.
-
Ability to support occasional on-site work at our Carlsbad, CA headquarters (preference for candidates located in San Diego County).
