Nutraceutical Sales Representative

Under the direction of the Vice President of Wholesale Sales, the Nutraceutical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing, supporting, fostering, and maintaining relationships with healthcare practitioners, including doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals. You will educate them on our product line, highlight the benefits of our supplements, and drive sales growth. The Nutraceutical Sales Representative will act as the key link between our company and healthcare practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and partner with new and existing clients in the healthcare industry, focusing on healthcare practitioners to recommend our products utilizing sales skills with a science-based focus.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs and how our supplements can meet them.

Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate healthcare providers on our products' benefits, efficacy, and clinical support. This involves direct engagement with individual practitioners and organizing and hosting educational events tailored for healthcare professionals.

Meet and exceed sales targets within assigned territories.

Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive products.

Attend conferences, trade shows, and other networking events to represent the company and promote our product line.

Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and product offerings.

Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to help drive product development.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
-
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required, with a strong preference for additional education or background in a scientific discipline.

Driver’s license required.

A minimum of 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years of experience selling to healthcare practitioners (e.g., doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, or similar). Experience in the supplement industry is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success in previous sales roles.

Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.

Experience analyzing sales and demographic data.

Strong understanding of the healthcare and wellness industry, specifically the role of supplements in patient care.

Ability to communicate complex scientific information in an easy-to-understand manner with polished presentation skills.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.

Willingness to travel as needed for client visits, conferences, and meetings.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year + Commission and Quarterly Bonus Program. The exact compensation will depend on the candidate's location, experience, skills, and other relevant factors and may vary from the posted range.
