Ideal Qualifications and Background:
- Formal background in relevant biological sciences: pharmacology, psychiatry, biochemistry, molecular biology, neuroscience, neurology, integrative medicine, nutrition, etc.
- Deep knowledge and passion for nootropics, cognitive chemistry, smart drugs, cognitive enhancement, and neurohacking.
- Background in systems theory/complexity science.
- Ability to write academic and general purpose content.
- Work experience in the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical space.
- Familiarity with integrative medicine.
Required Education:
- Master’s Degree or higher in chemistry, life sciences, nutritional, science, neurochemistry, or integrative medicine.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of three years experience writing about complex scientific topics for a general audience, based on reading primary research papers and interviewing scientists.
- Previous work experience working in media relations or journalism, including writing and editing news stories or press releases.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research and write blog content for Neurohacker Collective website.
- Create content for PR purposes.
- Write in forums, industry blogs and websites.
- Write answers to technically oriented questions coming in from customer service, social media, and various forums, etc. and research as needed.
