We seek a highly motivated and meticulous Research Scientist with a biohacker’s spirit to join our dynamic R&D team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in researching and evaluating the efficacy and safety of new and existing ingredients for our complex supplement formulations. This role demands scientific precision, inventive thinking, and zeal for revolutionizing natural health products. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed evaluations of dietary supplement ingredients, producing research review documents summarizing relevant studies, assessing safety and efficacy, exploring interactions, and identifying substantiated claims.

  • Produce scientifically accurate and regulatory-compliant content for various platforms, including our website, social media, marketing materials, product labels, and educational resources.

  • Generate and update substantiation documentation for marketing claims related to ingredients and products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Participate in the formulation of new dietary supplement products.

  • Participate in design studies related to dietary supplement formulations, ranging from surveys and small-group tests to pilot studies and clinical trials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Nutritional Science, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience).

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing research articles and generating scientific content relevant to health and wellness.

  • Knowledge of nutritional and botanical sciences and understanding their application in supplement formulation.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, bridging scientific concepts to scientific and lay audiences.

  • Proficient in reviewing, understanding, and synthesizing technical scientific publications related to health, nutrition, and dietary supplements.

  • Skilled in literature review and the preparation of comprehensive research documents.

  • Adept at writing for diverse formats, from technical documentation to consumer-friendly content.

  • Versatile in handling various research-related tasks and collaborating across functional teams to meet shared objectives.

Management:

  • Report to the VP of Product Development and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, science, and marketing.
