Accounting Manager

Neurohacker Collective seeks an Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations and to collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate valuable insights for Neurohacker’s business strategies and decisions. These insights include financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and forecasting; monitoring, controlling, and accounting; operational performance reporting and analysis; and strategic planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Oversight:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.

Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Financial Analysis and Insights:

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability assessment.

Provide actionable insights based on data-driven analyses to guide executive decision-making and support business strategies.
Financial Systems and Process Improvement:

Optimize financial processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements within the finance and accounting function.

Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity.
Qualifications:
-
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

Minimum of 2-5 years of combined experience in finance, accounting, and business analysis roles, with a demonstrated track record of success.

Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, ERP systems). Advanced fluency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from complex datasets.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Prior experience in the consumer goods, e-commerce, or DTC industry is beneficial.
