Accounting Manager 

Full-time Remote within the US only

$70,000-$90,000/year

Neurohacker Collective seeks an Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations and to collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate valuable insights for Neurohacker’s business strategies and decisions.  These insights include financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and forecasting; monitoring, controlling, and accounting; operational performance reporting and analysis; and strategic planning and analysis. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Oversight:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.

  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.

Financial Analysis and Insights:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability assessment.

  • Provide actionable insights based on data-driven analyses to guide executive decision-making and support business strategies.

Financial Systems and Process Improvement:

  • Optimize financial processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements within the finance and accounting function.

  • Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of combined experience in finance, accounting, and business analysis roles, with a demonstrated track record of success.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, ERP systems). Advanced fluency in Microsoft Excel. 

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from complex datasets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Prior experience in the consumer goods, e-commerce, or DTC industry is beneficial.
