Logistics & Fulfillment Manager



Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall quality, reliability, on-time performance and cost effectiveness of logistics and fulfillment operations.


Logistics and Fulfillment: 

  • Evaluate and select fulfillment vendors; negotiate pricing and contract terms.

  • Oversee and manage inventory counts, replenishments, shipping and tracking of finished products from various manufacturers to all fulfillment centers. 

  • Manage all Amazon US, Amazon UK, and Amazon AU marketplaces, SKU listings, inventory, and replenishment. Including FBA and MCF.

  • Cross-collaborate with the Production department and corresponding manufacturers regarding manufacturing timelines and shipping protocols of all products to domestic and international fulfillment locations.

  • Cross-collaborate with the Technology department to integrate needed API & various software platforms required for Amazon marketplaces, independent fulfillment centers, and wholesale customers for effective and uninterrupted order fulfillment.

  • Perform daily & weekly inventory analysis and tracking for all customer & wholesale projections and fulfillment needs

  • SOP Compliance tracking of inventory, lot numbers, and customer shipped to for recall and traceability protocols. 

  • Maintain backorder status management & order processing.


Wholesale Fulfillment:

  • Facilitate all domestic and international PO submissions, processing, shipping & tracking for major wholesale customers.

  • Design, upgrade and optimize the online wholesale store.

  • Own and maintain Wholesale Administrative Analytics and Wholesale Store product listings.

  • Communicate continuously with fulfillment centers for all shipping, receiving, replenishment, case packing, and PO wholesale customer needs and contract requirements.  

  • Review & adhere to all wholesale contracted requirements.

  • Manage Walmart deliveries, inventory, and replenishment.


Secondary Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Accounting & Controller on wholesale customer invoicing & payment terms

  • Consult with 3rd party experts to adopt Amazon best practice protocols for fulfillment services

  • Assign/manage SKU's and UPC's for all products across all platforms (Team Drive, Amazon Marketplaces & independent fulfillment centers)

  • Direct wholesale sample shipments to potential customers & partners

  • Resolve all inventory, shipping and fulfillment issues

  • Cost analysis of fulfillment & shipping rates related to Amazon, independent fulfillment centers, and manufacturer shipments 

  • Review monthly fulfillment invoices

  • Source new shipment packaging/boxing for current & upcoming NHC products

  • Communicate product arrival and inventory counts to Marketing and R&D departments; Ensure accurate labeling


Reporting and relationships:

  • Reports to: COO 

  • Works with: All team members; primarily Production Manager and VP of Wholesale Sales


Qualifications and Background:

  • Must-Have:

    • Deep familiarity with Amazon FBA, MCF, Amazon Transparency, and Amazon domestic & international marketplaces.

    • Knows the latest technologies and vendor platforms for customer & wholesale fulfillment 

    • Strong logistics and fulfillment background

    • Fluid knowledge of new product setup and launch logistics

    • Loves system optimization.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills - can navigate all personality types and emotions gracefully.

  • Ideal:

    • Has worked in the supplement & nutraceutical space (or related health and wellness spaces) and knows the regulatory issues associated 

    • Active interest in neurohacking and the related health, performance optimization, and human potential spaces.

    • Science familiarity and interest.
