Job Summary
Manage logistics and customs for inbound shipments, lead DSO/OSO operational readiness, and support new territory expansion. Work cross-functionally to improve delivery performance, streamline operations, and support strategic account growth.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities
Logistics & Trade Expert
- Manage day to day import operations from Asia: documentation accuracy, customs broker coordination, and carrier scheduling.
- Monitor all inbound shipments; proactively communicate clearance status, holds, delays, and mitigation plans.
- Advise Customer Support of any local customs holds impacting delivery timelines.
- Communicate delivery schedule changes, new ship dates, and mitigation steps to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with regulatory on logistics gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure import documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, HS/HTS codes, Incoterms, etc.) is accurate and compliant.
- Partner with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and couriers to secure on-time deliveries.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations on landed cost accuracy and intercompany charges.
- Track lane performance, analyze costs, and recommend operational improvements.
- Stay current on customs regulations and update SOPs and stakeholders accordingly.
DSO/OSO (Group Account) Operational Readiness
- Lead operational setup and readiness for DSOs/OSOs headquartered in Asia.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for group accounts.
- Drive cross-partner process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards.
- Resolve escalations and improve overall group account experience.
New Territory Expansion
- Support operational planning for new North American market entries.
- Evaluate logistics, customs, and fulfillment requirements for new territories.
- Support system setup requirements for new territories.
- Assist with risk assessments, contingency planning, and pilot execution.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10% domestic and international travel
Required Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in international logistics or import operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs compliance, FDA and CBP regulations, HS/HTS, and Incoterms.
- Experience supporting complex or multi-site customers preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Medical device or healthcare operations experience preferred.
