Position Details

Position Title: Software Engineering Manager

Department: Software Group

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Salary Range: $140K – $200K

Reports to: Senior Vice President Software Engineering or CTO

Essential Functions

You will be responsible for managing a group of software engineers working on a variety of products, including mobile apps, websites, backends, databases, AI and more for internal, consumer and medical customers. You will use both your proven project management experience and people management skills to deliver software products that are high quality and on time in this fast-paced environment. We are an ISO 13485 compliant organization, so attention to detail, sound engineering practices and documentation is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in project management
Minimum 2 years of experience in management of engineers
Familiarity with agile methodologies
Experience with an online project management tool
Experience hiring and managing engineers
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal skills

Track record of bringing projects to delivery

Physical Requirements: standing, sitting, walking, stairs, light lifting, computer operation.
