Opportunity Summary:  

The Contingent’s Tennessee Program Director will lead program strategy, execution, and local-level management of The Contingent’s deliverables for Every Child Tennessee (EC TN) on the groundThis role acts as a bridge between The Contingent HQ (based in Portland, OR) and the local Every Child TN effort. The Program Director will strategize to increase cohesion between what’s happening on the ground and The Contingent’s plans and processes, translate needs from partners on the ground, lead customer service for partner organizations, and coordinating between the products created and the local partner “ground game” activities.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Program Leadership 

  • Build strategy around The Contingent’s specific Every Child goals 

  • Work with the Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative (GFBCI) to align The Contingent’s recruitment strategy with office’s other priorities: preservation, retention, and transition 

  • Partner with Executive Director of National Expansion and Director of Every Child TN (GFBCI) to provide regular updates to Department of Child Services (DCS) leadership 

  • Lead monthly reporting strategy on recruitment to Every Child TN partner organization and DCS 

  • Establish and lead meeting cadence with partner organizations 

Product and Project Management 

  • Provide in-person support for partner organizations on TC Air Game products: website, CX, Partner Portal, data, and reporting  

  • Listen for opportunities to innovate around the product, reflecting them to the Executive Director of National Expansion 

  • Communicate with partners about product releases, build updates, observations, and opportunities for collaboration 

Relationship-Building 

  • Build trust and relationship with Every Child Tennessee Network partners 

  • Proactively seek out feedback on Air Game products from network partners 

  • Lead proactive communication around product rollouts and product improvements with partners 

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • 5 years of experience in project or program management, with proven experience in building  
    consensus, launching new programs, and/or scaling initiatives 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Relational acumen and ability to effectively message to various stakeholders 

  • Strategy ability to lead synchronization of air game and ground game  

  •  Ability to translate feedback into actionable steps  

  • The ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse, perpetually changing environment, while maintaining a calm and positive spirit. 

  • Experience in successfully working with a diverse group of constituents utilizing multi-cultural intelligence, intentional listening, appreciation, and respect

Employment Terms, Accountability, and Compensation:  

  • Full Time (40hrs) exempt annual salary offered at a range of $74,000 - $91,000 (estimated total compensation $84,000 - $100,000) doe 

  • Starting placement will not exceed this starting salary range and is based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. 

  • This position is part of a collaborative matrix management framework  

  • This a hybrid position in Nashville, Tennessee 

  • The Contingent has a flexible work model that supports a blend of in-office, remote and on-the-go workers   

  • We have team members located in multiple time zones. To facilitate collaboration, core hours for this position are 9-2 pm PST (7- 12 pm HST, 11-4 pm CST, 12-5 pm EST) 

  • This position will be expected to work within The Contingent’s hybrid work policy (2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days from home)   

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
