Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions with a high degree of accuracy and speed, operating as a lead to the team goals   

  • Manages, mentors, and develops engineering talent, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and motivated team in a productive work environment 

  • Responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous products  

  • Review and recommend new technologies to improve existing system performance and reliability   

  • Develop new systems and maintain and modify existing systems as required  
     

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 -7 years of experience in relevant fields engineering, computer science etc.  

  • Expertise in relevant technical fields, such as software development and quality assurance  
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Extensive knowledge of software and code    

  • Programming low code power pages, Lighting, Salesforce, C#, Pipeline coding, Azure, front end languages, bootstrap, Power Pages C++, Java and HTML5  

  • The ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse, perpetually changing environment, while maintaining a calm and positive spirit 

  • Experience with leading DevOps teams responsible for deploying and supporting systems including sprint management, continuous testing, deployment, and pipeline management   

  • Leadership experience in a highly collaborative agile team  

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical challenges and make informed decisions

Employment Terms, Accountability, and Compensation:  

  • Full Time (40hrs) exempt annual salary offered at a pay range of range of $91,000 – $118,400 (estimated total compensation $101,000 - $128,000 doe)  

  • Starting placement will not exceed this starting salary range and is based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.  

  • This position is a part of a dispersed matrix management team, in Portland, Oregon 

  • The Contingent has a flexible work model that supports a blend of in-office, remote and on-the-go workers  

  • This is a hybrid position and will be expected to work within The Contingent’s hybrid flexible work model (2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days from home) 

  • We have team members located in multiple time zones. To facilitate collaboration HQ Operations will not schedule all staff events outside of the core hours   

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
