The Contingent is making a significant investment in updating and building websites to support our national expansion efforts, developing campaign-specific landing pages, and integrating webforms into our Microsoft Dynamics 365/ Dataverse environment. The Web Developer will play a key role in supporting the initiatives of The Contingent, such as Every Child Oregon, The Script, and SINE. with an emphasis on front-end web design, back-end maintenance, and support.

In consideration of the requirements and specific needs associated with this position, preference will be given to candidates situated within the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Front-end web development to implement mobile-first responsive landing pages.
- Collaborating with other members of TC’s Tech team to leverage webhooks, building API integrations or otherwise embedding webforms to capture CTA inquiry/application data.
- Managing the back end of TC’s WordPress sites by maintaining and updating plugins, themes, PHP, WordPress versions, etc.
- Auditing sites for performance, security, and providing recommendations to implement opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or certification in coding preferred.
- 3-5+ years of WordPress development experience, having created 5-10+ WordPress sites preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Proficiency using WordPress, GoDaddy and WP Engine or another hosting platform.
- Expertise in PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery required.
- Experience working with project/task management tools, i.e. Asana preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, or another CRM (Customer Relations Management) platform, or relational databases preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and find scalable and sustainable solutions.

Employment Terms, Accountability and Compensation:
- Full Time (40hrs) exempt, annual pay range $92,200 – $100,900
- Estimated total Compensation: $103,00-$111,000
- Starting placement will not exceed this starting pay range and is based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
- This is a hybrid position in Portland, Oregon.
- The Contingent has a flexible work model that supports a blend of in-office, remote and on-the-go workers
- We have team members located in multiple time zones. To facilitate collaboration, core hours for this position are 9 am-2 pm Pacific Time (11 am-4 pm Central Time, 12-5 pm Eastern Time). HQ Operations will not schedule all staff events outside of these core hours.
- This position will be expected to work within The Contingent’s hybrid work policy (2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days from home).
