Organizational Objective:

The Script is expanding its external brand presence and strengthening its digital engagement across social media and web platforms. This role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy, oversee content creation and curation, and provide ongoing analytics and performance reporting.

The contractor will also collaborate closely with organizational leadership and an external branding/web agency to support The Script’s rebranding initiatives and upcoming website enhancements. 

About the Role: 

The Script is expanding its digital presence and seeking a part-time contractor to lead social media strategy, content development, and performance reporting. This role will also support a broader rebranding initiative and website enhancements in partnership with leadership and an external agency. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Social Media Strategy & Content 

  • Develop and execute strategies for LinkedIn and Instagram 

  • Create and publish 1–3 posts per week 

  • Draft post copy and coordinate visual assets 

  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging 

  • Manage scheduling and engagement using approved tools (e.g., Sprout Social) 

  • Monitor performance and produce monthly analytics reports

Brand & Website Support 

  • Support The Script’s rebranding and website update 

  • Audit and update website content for clarity and brand alignment 

  • Draft and prepare new website copy 

  • Coordinate content reviews and approvals 

  • Support content updates within the website platform (e.g., Squarespace) 

  • Maintain organized content tracking for drafts, approvals, and publishing 

Qualifications: 

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or digital communications 

  • Strong content development and storytelling skills 

  • Experience analyzing social media performance and reporting insights 

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Employment Terms: 

  • Independent Contractor role (no employee benefits) 

  • 3-month engagement (~10 hours/week) 

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. 

  • Must operate under a registered business entity (LLC, S-Corp, or similar) 

Anticipated Start Date: March 2026
