AITC is looking for an
experienced, Principal Training & Development Specialists, to provide support
to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS)
Maintenance Program (ATMP) located at the Fort Bliss Military Base, TX..
The Fort Bliss Principal Training & Development Specialists plan, coordinate, and track Mobile Close Combat Tactical Trainer (MCCTT) - TES G events to provide analysis and feedback.
Duties Include but are not Limited to:
Receiving and tracking requests from training units for events Developing transportation plans/schedules that include per diem, fuel, and overtime.
Facilitating link up between contractor teams providing exercise support and the Army training units.
Scheduling scenario development meetings with training units’ Commanders/Master Gunners.
Making accurate, timely and complete entries into the Management Information System (MIS).
Producing After Action Review (AAR) products with Audiovisual Specialist assistance as needed.
Some travel may be required.
Bachelors’ degree in relevant area preferred - Will consider additional experience in lieu of degree.
Prior service as an Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army or US Marine Corps with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Motorized Infantry (Stryker), Airborne Infantry, Cavalry, Armor, Artillery, Counter-Fire Radar / Artillery, Chemical / Biological, Combat Engineer, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Logistics, Military Intelligence, Mission Command Systems (CPOF, BFT, DCGS-A)
Prior experience as an at a Combat Training Center including skills in Training and/or Feedback Analysis.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with basic computer systems including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.
Experience with video and audio editing software.
Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and be adaptable in a high paced environment.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and Post driving privileges.
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
