AITC has an opening for an experienced highly skilled Program Manager to join our professional team in providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP). AITC been awarded eight (8) ATMP site locations based in the United States which are West Jordan, UT, Fort Bliss. TX, Ellington Field, TX, Fort Sill, OK, Camp Grayling, MI, Fort Eustis, VA, Camp Edwards, MA, Camp Santiago. PR.

Position Overview:

The Program Manager is responsible for Managing eight (8) US base sites and is accountable for the contract performance for government programs or a set of related projects to achieve programmatic business objectives throughout the program lifecycle.

The Program Manager directly supports the work required to maintain and sustain the Army’s enterprise of TADSS while managing his team to ensure their performance and their responsibilities for life cycle management of TADSS, and provide services integrally related to TADSS maintenance.

They are responsible for the management and oversight of the successful work of a multi-disciplinary team to meet all Task Order (TO) requirements. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

Ensures program requirements are met and are in the best interests of AITC, Inc by creating the program program/charter, internal baseline plan, and other program management components. Organizes and lead the programs by defining and identifying required expertise and addresses critical issues on complex programs and leads the team to develop action plans to improve performance.

Serves as the projects/clients advocate and ensures effective program management processes, schedule, cost, resources, risk, quality, project change management, implementation of corrective actions covering all areas of program responsibility and that commitments to customers are met. Directs all phases of programs throughout the program lifecycle.

The Site Manager regularly exercises discretionary and substantial decision-making authority to effectively respond to requirements.

Facilitate the definition of program/project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between program/projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.

Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.

Ensures successful customer relationships by responding to all customer requests and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned program activities, status and problem resolution. Is responsible for the negotiation of contract changes related to scope management.

Serves as key presenter and facilitator at major program reviews. Ensures meeting actions are documented and communicated.

Qualifications and Experience:

Maintenance or operations experience in Army Training devices preferred

Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years related work experience; including two or more years leading multiple projects of varying complexity and scope and direct leadership of teams.

In-depth knowledge and proficiency with program management processes, methodology, and architecture.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred

PMP certification preferred.
