Open Role: SMB Account Executive
Reports to: Director of Sales

Position Summary
The SMB Account Executive is responsible for building pipeline and securing business with companies under 50 employees. As a Yardstik SMB AE, you are a skillful salesperson, who excels at building your own prospect funnel. This is an opportunity to be part of an early, core team in an exciting environment.
As a member of our Sales organization, you’ll get the chance to contribute in a big way to the overall success of the team. If you’ve got a good balance of entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to win customers, you’ll love this role.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the enterprise sale cycle end to end
- Prospect new opportunities to aid in building top of your personal sales funnel
- Collaborate and negotiate with business partners
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to solve customer problems
- Consult with product teams to provide market insights and customer feedback to make our platform better
- Manage the CRM database with customer information, goals, KPIs, and integrations so the company can make data driven decisions
- Forecast your book of business with appropriate close dates
- Achieve and exceed quarterly quota targets to deliver revenue
Qualifications

- 1-3 years of full sales cycle experience in a progressive growth company
- Self-driven, self-starter
- Demonstrated experience of taking prospects from initial conversation to closed business
- Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
- Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Slack.
- Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM strongly desired
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent
- Some travel may be required
