Our team is built from a diverse set of talents: software developers, technology leaders, professional services delivery, client services geniuses that all come together to make us the leader in digitizing and automating document management, transactions, workflow integrations and API's. This role will be based in our West Des Moines office and require travel to client sites approximately 10-40% of the time as needed (post-pandemic).


Position Summary

The Project Manager manages professional services delivery for one or more active Docupace clients throughout the client life cycle. The client life cycle includes initial client implementations, ongoing change requests and support releases. The Project Manager works with the support team, sales team and account management team directly to ensure consistent messaging and communication to provide the client with the best overall customer experience at Docupace, helping them to achieve their own organizational goals.


In addition to the strategic responsibilities outlined, the Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects which have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. As a Docupace Project Manager you will maintain excellent communication with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally, to ensure smooth running of all your projects. You will be responsible for representing the Customer Care and Delivery organization in a mature and organization-focused manner, projecting a professional image


Responsibilities

  • Lead a mixture of agile and traditional projects in small to medium size and complexities as a Project Manager
  • Plan and set project timelines and facilitate project planning, meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and demos
  • Develop estimates, both high-level and detailed that include schedule, costs and resources
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress and report on project risks and mitigation activities
  • Identify, secure, and coordinate internal and external expertise appropriate to achieve project objectives
  • Contribute to maturing Agile and Project Management methodologies and codifying best practices to support Docupace's short and long term goals
  • Demonstrate your ability to use enterprise project tools effectively to execute projects, deliver status, manage capacity, and project budgets
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed, approximately 10-40%

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years Software Implementation/Information Technology experience Applications Development focused
  • 2+ years Project Management Experience
  • 2+ years Agile/Scrum Software Implementation Experience
  • 2+ years of managing multiple project initiatives
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Project Management experience within Financial Services and Wealth Management preferred
  • Experience using JIRA and Financial Force preferred
