American Soybean Association’s business information specialist will manage and maintain the organization’s association management system and work with State Affiliates to assist with membership needs, troubleshooting issues, training in the database, and coordinating sending information on behalf of State Affiliates to its members.        

 

A farmer-led organization, the American Soybean Association (ASA) has served as the national trade organization that advocates on behalf of U.S. soybean farmers on domestic policy issues and international trade issues for more than 100 years. ASA represents the collective voice of 500,000 soybean growers in 30 soybean-producing states.

 

The Mission of ASA is to advocate for U.S. soy farmers on policy and trade.

  • Proven success demonstrating strong administrative or equivalent skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong spoken, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills while focused on the details.
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure, balance multiple priorities, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Ability to learn and work independently and proactively, while accepting guidance from other team members. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, WordPress, and database management systems.
  • Position requires up to 25% travel.
