About the Position

The Marketing Operations Specialist plays a critical role on the Marketing and Communications team, keeping the team and internal stakeholders ultra-organized and highly effective through project management, analysis, and logistical support.

This role will support the Marketing and Communications team in email marketing, website, process management and execution, and production. As the go-to for analytics, the Marketing Operations Specialist will help the team build and execute impactful strategies that support the organization and Downtown Denver.

About the Job

  • Under the leadership of the Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications and utilizing a project management tool (Asana), serve as the project manager for the Marketing and Communications team, driving project process, deadlines, and logistics for Partnership projects, initiatives, and programs.
  • Manage the Downtown Denver Partnership website, collaborating with team members to make timely updates/additions and keep pages up to date.
  • In partnership with the Graphic Designer and Coordinator, Public Relations & Communications, build the Partnership’s email communications.
  • Collect and analyze data related to email, social and web performance, and make recommendations to help maximize the Marketing and Communications team output.
  • Represent the Marketing and Communications team in organization-wide technology and system integration efforts.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications team on logistics and organizational needs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About You

To be successful in this position, you must be a strategic and creative communicator with a keen sense of Partnership programs and how best to support our team in engaging partners. You should possess a deep commitment to instilling practices and a culture that reflects the Downtown Denver Partnership.

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in project management, data/analytics, and operations.
  • Experience working with WordPress, Wix, Asana, and social media reporting platforms.
  • Ability to stay informed on best practices, industry trends and Denver happenings.
  • Proven organizational skills, ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to check deliverables for quality and correctness.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, capable of communicating in a professional and positive manner and be intentionally inclusive in conversations. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure, respond quickly to changes, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while supporting a collaborative work approach as part of a project team.
  • Commitment to City Building and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Marketing experience preferred, but not required.
