The Position and the Team You’ll Work With

Bidgely is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic Strategy & Growth team. The Solutions Consultant plays a crucial role in understanding our customers' needs, determining which products or services should be offered to which customers, when those offerings should be made, and how they should be presented. This role involves collaborating with both internal teams and external clients to drive successful deal closure and drive Bidgely’s market share growth alongside other team members.. The Solutions Consultant reports to the Director of Strategy & Growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert of the regulated utility market by understanding how Bidgely plays a disruptive role in scaling artificial intelligence across the sector.

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their unique business challenges and objectives. Design and present tailored solutions that leverage Bidgely's technology to address those challenges effectively.

  • Proposal Development: Drive revenue growth through the development of winning proposals that effectively address client’s needs and concerns. Manage the completion of technical components of RFI/RFP submissions as part of the core response team. Build program designs and data models in support of our prospecting and solution definition efforts

  • Client Engagement: Work closely with the Sales team to build strong relationships with clients. Actively listen to their needs, provide expert guidance on Bidgely's solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Bidgely's AI-powered energy analytics platform and stay updated on industry trends. Translate technical concepts into clear and compelling presentations for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to our standard content and assets in support of a functional area of expertise and in pursuit of sales opportunities.

  • Innovation: Bring ideas and feedback to the product and innovation teams based on customer interaction and awareness of regional and market-level trends. Influence the company by collaborating cross-functionally to conceptualize solution enhancements that penetrate our market.

What You’ll Bring


  • MBA or other advanced degree

  • Experience in a startup environment

  • 3-5 years experience in solutions consultant, sales engineering or a presales-related position

  • Energy Efficiency background and experience is a definitive plus


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a consulting or sales engineering capacity within a solutions context

  • 2+ years experience in the utility or renewable energy space

  • 2+ years experience in a solutions consultant, sales engineering or pre-sales related position

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Strategic, big-picture, out-of-the-box thinking

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing and re-prioritizing tasks 

  • Familiar with agile working mode - you are a self-starter with quick turnaround capabilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail

  • Demonstrable ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to interpret, manipulate, and explain data trends

  • Analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the client

Remote with up to 20% travel to customer sites and our headquarters


The compensation package for this position includes a base pay ranging from $95,000-$130,000.  Our listed compensation range is commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, skill sets, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
