Speechcenter, A Sidekick Company, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based opening in King/Stokes County, NC. 

Requirements: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC-SLP certification, and eligibility for North Carolina licensure (if CCC-SLP). You'll be expected to perform professional duties and adhere to the standards of care set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as state and federal laws and regulations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct student assessments to determine speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for student
  • Provide speech therapy services to Pre-K-6th grade students 
  • Collaborate with school student support professionals to develop and implement plans
  • Maintain accurate and complete state-required student records and documentation
  • Educate students, staff and families on communication strategies

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with children and a passion for play
  • Collaboration desired with an exceptional student support team
  • Strong knowledge related to speech and language disorders
