A CDP is our fully-equipped mobile medical unit — the vehicle our Field Deployed Technicians keep on the road and ready for patient care.

 

General Tasks

  • Vehicle Operations: Drive the CDP between sites and on public roads.
  • Route and Range Planning: Read range against the day’s route and plan around gaps in the charging network before they become a problem.
  • Charging: Run Level 2 and DC fast charging sessions, connect and disconnect, and troubleshoot a charger that won’t start.
  • Site Setup and Breakdown: Complete the arrival survey, leveling, module deployment and interlocks, and shore power, and secure the vehicle before it rolls.
  • Troubleshooting: Read a fault on the interface, isolate it safely, and decide what gets fixed on site.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Complete walkarounds and scheduled service, and act on the platform’s own trends before they turn into downtime.
  • Escalation to MMM: Maintain a direct line back to the factory, with the platform’s telemetry history already in hand.
  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients with a warm welcome as they arrive, help manage traffic flow in and around the CDP, and provide assistance when needed.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:  
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Relevant certifications (automotive, EV, or electrical trade training) preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in field service, fleet maintenance, EV service, or a similar hands-on technical role preferred.
    • Comfort with driving, basic vehicle systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders

Work Environment  

Field-based role. Field Deployed Technicians are assigned full-time to a single CDP and travel with it between sites and on public roads. 

Salary & Benefits  

  1. 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service  
  2. Medical insurance – 100% employer contribution, participating plans  
  3. $10K Life insurance – 100% employer contribution  
  4. Dental/Vision – employee contribution  
  5. 401K – 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match  
  6. Weekly payday, every Friday  
  7. Quarterly profit sharing, up to 20% of annual wages, and an Open Book Management organization
