You’ll perform selective tear-downs — including interiors, fixtures, and mechanical subsystems — with a strong focus on safety, salvage, and speed. Your work ensures reusable components are preserved and waste is handled responsibly. This hands-on, fast-paced role is central to transforming pre-owned vehicles into life-saving clinics on wheels.

  • Prioritize safety, salvage, and speed during all demolition activities
  • Identify and preserve reusable components for future use; label, stage, and inventory salvaged items
  • Sort waste streams (metal, wood, general) for recycling or disposal and complete basic documentation
  • Operate hand and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, oscillating tools, saws, pry bars, and fastener removal tools
  • Use material-handling equipment, including carts and dollies; operate forklift or scissor lift if certified
  • Meet daily and weekly tear-down targets with minimal rework
