Position: Brand Ambassador 

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Reports to:  Canvass & Events Manager

Hours: Fulltime, 35 hours per week (some weekends and nights required) NonExempt

 

 

Work on the front lines of Brooklyn Solar Works’ effort to cover urban rooftops with solar and electrify New York City! As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll:

 

  • Educate homeowners throughout NYC on the benefits of solar and available incentives

  • Communicate BSW’s innovative rooftop solar solutions in simple terms

  • Identify customer motivations and respond to customer concerns

  • Schedule interested homeowners for free, no-obligation consultations

  • Represent BSW at community events

 

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for expanding solar energy production

  • Ability to walk, climb stairs, and work outdoors

  • Positive attitude and self-start

 

Preferred

  • Demonstrated success in previous sales or fundraising roles

 

Compensation: $21-23 per hour base pay + uncapped commissions. OTE $70,000+
