YOUR IMPACT: As the Program Intern, you will make sure our entire Program team succeeds! From supporting workshops and events, to spicing up our Excel data sheets and documents, to completing administrative and logistical tasks — your leadership, hard work, and dedication will ensure that our students receive the best possible programming. Our Middle and High School Programs need YOU!
THIS IS THE RIGHT POSITION FOR YOU IF:
You pride yourself in your great organizational skills and attention to detail.
You enjoy taking initiative and solving problems before they even exist!
You are willing to wear a different hat every day.
You are a current undergraduate college student in good academic standing (3.0 GPA and above).
You LOVE to laugh and have fun!
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Spice up our workshop materials; track and organize the progress of our students over the semester; crunch numbers like a data fiend; support Breakthrough events and order food; communicate with students and their parents… the list goes on and on — you’ll work on something new and different every day!
TIME COMMITMENT:
ASAP — December 6, 2019
Mondays — Fridays, 12-15 hours per week
WHO ARE WE? Breakthrough Silicon Valley launches talented but underserved middle school students on the path to college AND inspires high school and college students to become educators. Our tuition-free program provides year-round out-of-school academic support, advising, and advocacy for a diverse group of talented students, most of whom are first in their family to go to college. 99% of BTSV graduates are accepted into four-year colleges and 89% of BTSV 2017-2018 Teaching Fellows are inspired to pursue a career in education as a result of their summer experience.

This is an unpaid internship. A stipend of $3,000 will be paid to the intern to offset living expenses during the internship term.
