Role Overview:

The Marketing Director is responsible for the overarching marketing strategy and launch plan and partners with the Brand Image Director. The Marketing Director will have a broad reach in the brand, focused on significant growth in e-commerce and our retail partners, all while maintaining the brand’s integrity and image. Reporting to the President, you’ll collaborate closely with everyone on the team and play a key role in propelling the brand forward. This is an in-house position in our Paris office.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities are - but not limited to:

  • As a senior leader of the organization, develop, plan, execute and measure a creative and effective seasonal global marketing strategy that supports all channels, including retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and licensing

  • Build and manage annual marketing budget, reconcile expenses, and monitor ROI

  • Develop strategies for brand collaborations, sponsorships, campaign faces, influencer partnerships, and/or charitable involvements, including but not limited to overseeing successful contract negotiations and subsequent adherence to said contracts and driving and monitoring ROI

  • Ensure cross-functional synergy with all departments, including creative, e-commerce, merchandising, PR

  • Collaborate with all teams to map and develop relevant product storytelling that supports key launches and merchandise priorities

  • Ensure a consistent global customer experience across all touchpoints, such as the brand website, social media, email, and SMS messaging

  • Grow customer base through the development and implementation of acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs

  • Leverage customer insights & analytical tools to increase brand marketing ROI

  • Execute all marketing and social events

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the executive team reporting on marketing strategies and performance

  • Stay on top of industry trends and research opportunities within partnerships, experiences, and brand storytelling

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university

  • 7+ years working in marketing for a fashion brand with a focus on e-commerce

  • Strong understanding of contemporary fashion, digital, and retail spaces

  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with various stakeholders

  • Strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial attitude, and can-do mentality

  • Able to wear multiple hats and function well on a small, nimble, proactive team

  • Creative and innovative mindset with branding strategies and content that converts to sales

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce fundamentals, including performance and email marketing

  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar website analytics tool
