We are seeking a European Sourcing Manager, based in Paris to oversee sourcing and supplier management across our European manufacturing network. Based in Paris, this role will manage procurement activities for jewelry and leather goods suppliers in France and Italy, with scope to expand into additional product categories and sourcing regions as the business grows.

The position plays a key role in maintaining strong relationships with artisan manufacturers while ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, compliance, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Supplier Management & Development

  • Manage relationships with manufacturing partners across France and Italy, specializing in jewelry and leather goods production.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers aligned with the brand’s craftsmanship and quality standards.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities.
  • Maintain strong supplier communication to ensure alignment on production timelines and product specifications.

Sourcing & Procurement

  • Oversee procurement of finished goods and key raw materials, including metals, gemstones, leather, and hardware.
  • Support product development by identifying materials and manufacturing partners suitable for new product initiatives.
  • Coordinate purchase orders and supplier confirmations while maintaining accurate cost information.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure all suppliers adhere to the brand’s quality standards and technical requirements.
  • Support compliance with relevant EU regulations, including hallmarking, material declarations, and product documentation.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Production Coordination

  • Monitor supplier production schedules to ensure on-time delivery to distribution centers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including product development, merchandising, and logistics.
  • Track supplier performance and maintain clear visibility into production status.

Cost Management & Reporting

  • Maintain supplier pricing and cost information to support margin analysis and product costing.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize sourcing costs while maintaining product integrity.
  • Contribute to sourcing strategy as European supplier networks expand.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain roles within luxury goods, jewelry, leather goods, or accessories.
  • Strong knowledge of European manufacturing networks, particularly in France and Italy.
  • Experience working with artisan suppliers and specialized material vendors.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory compliance for jewelry and leather goods.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple production timelines.
  • Experience with ERP or supply chain systems preferred.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English and French required Italian strongly preferred
