We are seeking a creative yet data-driven candidate who thrives in a collaborative workspace! As our Director of eCommerce, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our e-commerce business including site experience, merchandising, content, analytics, conversion, retention, driving sales growth, and technical aspects.
In this role you will be actively involved in building holistic site strategies and expansion plans, as well as actively collaborating with the creative team to improve digital brand experience.
The role is based in our HQ in Los Angeles (West Hollywood) and will report to the VP of Global Sales.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Contribute to design overall eCommerce strategy in alignment with Jacques Marie Mage’s business and growth objectives and take full ownership of its execution.
- Drive revenue, with specific focus on international markets, develop strategic and operational roadmap for the team, manage execution and measure results against customer acquisition, revenue, and EBITDA goals.
- Develop annual and multi-year E-Commerce budgets; work closely with the marketing department to size advertising spend, define expected ROAS, customer growth, and other appropriate metrics.
- Define, develop and roll-out a comprehensive set of KPIs to measure business performance as well as effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with CRM manager to create relevant customer journeys and targeting the right audiences
- Demonstrate ability to create constructive and customer focused teams (especially customer service) and cross department dynamics, while overseeing the eCommerce site to drive exponential growth.
- Oversee the implementation of Innovative digital solutions such as virtual try-on, etc.
Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of brand equity and luxury positioning.
- Successful track record leading eCommerce experience and tracking KPIs that proved successful, preferably in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments, at a strong consumer brand.
- Strong previous technical exposure, including working with web design, construction and eCommerce integration, SEO, user experience, social media deployment, database building, and experience with eCommerce platforms.
- Strong experience in digital marketing
- Track record in web / eCommerce project management.
- Thorough understanding of retail fundamentals – merchandising, sales, customer service, production, operations/fulfillment, etc.
- Experience with P&L ownership and ability to develop and manage a budget.
- Punctual, driven, and self-motivated.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact and present effectively with all levels of management.
Job requirements:
- 8-10 years experience in eCommerce, preferably for a luxury or fashion brand.
- Significant experience with eCommerce software (Shopify is a plus).

- Ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced corporate environment.
