Role Overview:

The Sales Executive for the APAC region, reporting to the VP of Global Sales, will play a key role in driving sales growth and fostering relationships with wholesale accounts across the region. You will collaborate with the global team to implement key commercial strategies, ensuring alignment with regional business goals. Your primary responsibility will be to grow and manage the wholesale channel, building strong partnerships with customers and overseeing the execution of regional sales plans.

 

Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Collaborate with the Executive team to define and implement sales strategies and action plans for the APAC region.

    • Identify growth opportunities within existing wholesale accounts and develop strategies to acquire new customers.

    • Execute a roadmap across optical wholesale and fashion accounts to drive business growth and market share.

  2. Collaboration & Cross-functional Support

    • Work closely with global merchandising teams to align on assortment, category strategies, and market-specific needs.

    • Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure demand forecasting, order execution, and sales performance are aligned.

    • Support the development and execution of seasonal budgets, sales targets, and track performance across categories and channels.

  3. Customer Relationship Management

    • Provide exceptional customer service to wholesale partners by conducting regular visits, presenting new collections, and sharing product and marketing information.

    • Foster long-term relationships with key accounts and manage expectations related to product delivery, quality, and timelines.

    • Provide support for special projects, pop-ups, and capsules in collaboration with Marketing and Communications teams.

  4. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking

    • Develop and implement reporting solutions for the wholesale channel to provide visibility into sales performance, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    • Monitor performance against sales targets, identifying risks and opportunities to adjust strategies for maximum impact.

  5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

    • Collect and analyze competitor information, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.

    • Share valuable market insights with global teams to shape product offerings, merchandising strategies, and future business directions.

  6. Trade Shows & Industry Representation

    • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, and other industry events to represent the brand, engage with customers, and stay updated on market developments.

    • Support and host trunk shows or events as needed to build brand visibility and customer relationships within the APAC region.

  7. Brand & Product Standards

    • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and standards across all sales and marketing activities, ensuring consistency and brand integrity in every customer touchpoint.

    • Collaborate with the global product and merchandising teams to provide feedback and assist in the development of new product categories based on market demands.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales management or a similar role within the wholesale industry, with a strong focus on APAC markets.

  • Strong understanding of the optical and fashion wholesale market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with global teams.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute complex projects.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and sales reporting systems.
