Applied Visions is a software development company seeking an experienced software quality assurance analyst to contribute to the quality and verification of our software products. You will play a significant role on our team, helping develop exciting new applications in the areas of information security, information visualization, user interface design, financial applications, transportation, healthcare, and more.

 

Above all we’re looking for someone who’s smart, and gets things done. We expect you to be way more than just a cog in the wheel. We expect you to play an active role in the full development lifecycle. This is a hands-on role where an individual with strong analytical and communication skills and a keen attention to detail will succeed.

You Will:

·         Derive test plans and test cases from acceptance criteria.

·         Work with software engineers to ensure requirements can be translated into tests and to assist with debugging.

·         Prepare test environments, run manual tests, and document results.

·         Report bugs and issues in a clear and detailed manner.

·         Communicate effectively with all team members

You Bring:

·         Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.

·         Strong experience with manual user interface testing.

·         Excellent analytical skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         A solid understanding of software quality assurance best practices.

·         U.S. Citizenship Required.

Pluses:

·         Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, SQL, Postman, GraphQL Agile software development lifecycle.

·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
