Software Design Solutions, Inc. is looking for a senior software engineer with .NET and Web development experience to join the engineering team at our Murrysville, PA office.
The senior software engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, and building applications used in a wide range of real, fielded products. The ideal candidate will have experience in application development in C# and web development in ASP.NET MVC. Experience in HTML5, React, and/or mobile application development is a plus.
This position is located at our Murrysville, PA office but hybrid and full-time remote working arrangements are available for the right candidate.
Senior Software Engineer Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Create high-level architectures for a wide range of systems
• Develop high-quality code in a variety of applications
• Mentor less experienced software engineers
• Assist in software requirements analysis, design, and testing for a wide range of software applications
• Apply the agile mindset, processes, and tools to best meet the product needs
• Work together with an agile team, focusing on team collaboration and customer deliverables
Senior Software Engineer Job Requirements and Qualification
• Experience with web development and writing software in C# and .NET required
• Experience leading and/or mentoring teams is preferred
• Experience in ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, and React is preferred
• Experience in mobile application development is a plus
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field preferred
• Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required
