Applied Visions is a professional services company focused on creating holistic solutions to solve complex digital problems across multiple industries. We are seeking a capable and motivated Jr. System Administrator to take over aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our server infrastructure for our Information Technology team. The Jr Systems Administrator will be responsible managing the day-to-day IT related incidents while effectively contributing to infrastructure projects and cloud migrations. This individual will also ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related infrastructure adhere to organizational security standards.

What You’ll Do:
- Respond to and resolve help desk incidents and requests.
- Maintain internal system images and baselines.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all resources and services that relate to key company processes.
- Asset Management
- Maintain backups and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
- Contribute towards cloud migration projects while ensuring changes adhere with security standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain MDM solutions and relative device policies for both Windows and MacOS based systems.
- Identity and Access Management within a Hybrid environment.
- Create and maintain end-user and IT documentation.
You should have:
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows domain environment
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies
- Familiarity with Linux and MacOS systems
- Knowledge of virtual environments and hyper converged technologies
- Knowledge of networking
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow your personal knowledge base
Nice to haves:
- 1+ years of help desk and/or systems administration experience
- PowerShell and/or Python scripting
- Experience with the Azure Cloud
- Technical certification of any kind
