The role of Project Assistant is critical to thoroughly fulfilling our commitments to enterprise and retail clients accurately and on time, while delivering a fascinating user experience consistently. This role requires a service-oriented, quality-driven individual that promotes positive and progressive interactions with our team and clients to get work done. While explicit project management experience is not necessary, attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a desire to work effectively with a team is critical.

The primary function of this role is to assist with managing projects related to marketing content development, advertising, and conferences for the financial and insurance related industries. It requires:

  • Experience coordinating, planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing assigned project(s)

  • Proficiently using and managing project management software, our technology stack, spreadsheets, and word processing tools (Asana + Google Docs, primarily)

  • Planning agendas and conducting effective and progressive meetings (virtual and in-person)

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

  • Understanding the goals and objectives of marketing content for Snappy Kraken, enterprise clients, and retail users

  • Comprehending all aspects of the content production process, easily grasping individual components of multiple products, areas of flexibility, onboarding, and knowing how each works together

  • Analyzing data, content, and images for accuracy, and suggesting and implementing needed solutions

  • Well-spoken and professional appearance on the phone, video chat, and in-person

  • Working under the supervision of the Director of Production and closely with writers, designers, marketers, and developers

  • Experience with HTML code, writing sales and marketing copy, copy editing, and AP Style a plus

  • Completing occasional travel if required

  • Completing ad hoc assignments


8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday, from your remote location.
