The remote HR Specialist will play an integral role in moving forward growth and development initiatives, be a champion of our company culture, and enhance our employee experience.

The primary function of this role is to provide and shape HR support for Snappy Kraken under the direction of the Chief Operating Office and our PEO. It requires:

  • Creating, posting, and monitoring job posts on multiple platforms

  • Recruiting, communicating, and conducting interviews with qualified candidates

  • Completing 90-day new hire onboarding and orientation tasks to drive engagement and retention

  • Processing and maintaining ongoing employee records, including reviews, promotions, change requests, disciplinary actions, and terminations

  • Reviewing and updating employment policies as needed

  • Planning and assisting with employee training, development, and incentives

  • Assisting with the investigation and resolution of employee complaints, conflicts, or policy violations

  • Answering employee questions regarding payroll, benefits administration, policies, etc.

  • Ad hoc projects as needed
