Snappy Kraken is an award-winning MarTech company that's changing how financial professionals do business, for the better! We're looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic remote team.
Primary Job Function:
The primary function of this role is to run tests and document any defects with software, then retest for accuracy when new code is launched. This individual will identify and analyze any bugs found during testing, document them using meticulous attention to detail, and coach/collaborate with development teams on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement.
At least 3 years of experience as a quality assurance tester
Excellent knowledge of QA methodologies and processes
Experience testing Web APIs using automation tools (e.g. PostMan)
Performance Testing experience Automation
Ability to write good quality test plans, test cases, and bugs
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to analyze test scenarios, apply critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Passionate about sharing of knowledge
Ability to think beyond the assigned task, and be a good team player
Exposure to an Agile working environment
